On Saturday, Feb. 23, President Nicholas Sarkozy was on his walkabout at the annual farm fair. He greeted his supporters with “Hello” and “Thanks”, spoken in French of course. He offered both his hands to the crowd that milled around him. One man rejected Sarkozy’s touch by saying, “Don’t touch me, you are soiling me.” Sarkozy coolly replied, “Get lost, dumb a**.”
Which made sense because if that man was not a Sarkozy fan, why did he wait to get thronged by the President’s crowd? He should have got lost long ago. There is a short video of this incident at Le Parisien. (Click here) It has been viewed for more than 350,000 times.
