Lily Allen was hosting the first, all important BBC Three revamped program when a third of the studio audience walked out. They complained that it was boring. Critics of BBC Three had already advised scrapping the channel and diverting the money to news and current affairs.

The audience was supposed to be Lily’s pals and the talk show was called Lily Allen and Friends. However, the queue to leave the show early was just as busy as the queue to get into the show. It started with 150 fans but tapered out to have about 75 left out of the initial 150. Those fans were not her real fans as they abandoned ship so early and that was only the pilot episode too.
One fan said the jokes fell flat. Fans expected her to sing but the producers did not cater for this. Lily forgot her questions as an interviewer and instead criticized her online critics instead.
