Jose Ramos-Horta, 58, was shot in his stomach & arm. His condition is critical. He was flown from Dili to Darwin, Australia for treatment. Australia has sent in reinforcements like troops & police.

Alfredo Reinado, a rebel leader, was killed in the exchange of fire.
