A source, The Sun, reported that Ashley Cole pleaded to discuss with his estranged wife Cheryl. He was desperate to salvage their 18 month old marriage. Ashley went to Cheryl’s hotel suite at Royal Kensington Gardens Hotel and negotiated for an hour. Then Cheryl had to attend the night’s Brits Awards. She emerged at the very public function still without her wedding band.

Rumor has it that Cheryl Cole is abroad to chill out after Ashley Cole’s affairs broke out. Friends said she lost weight, sleep and chain smoked. She even smashed her phone so that Ashley could not contact her or she could not contact him. Actually, she could have taken out the car, changed her number…..

Debbie Wright, the ex-wife of Arsenal striker/TV presenter Ian Wright, blamed the women who stalked the footballer for her marriage’s breakdown. She forgave her ex the first time the story broke. Then she discovered he fathered a child. There was no second chance after that so they got divorced.

Debbie would advise Cheryl Cole to give Ashley Cole a second chance. To Ashley, she would say, ask forgiveness and mean it. Don’t mess up again.
